I’m Kristina Laukkanen, owner and lead talent here at Pear –  a wedding + portrait studio based in Toronto. I love being a wife to my wonderful husband and also being a semi new mom to our two little munchkins, George and Matthew.

I’m a lover of great design, films and community but my true romance is capturing the love and celebrations that happen all around us. After photographing weddings and families for fifteen years, my passion continues to reside with meeting my clients and hearing about their love stories and life ambitions over a few cupcakes and coffee.  There is nothing like capturing those decisive moments when families connect on the happiest days of their lives.

Myself and a collective of artisans are here to help tell your story from the moment you say I do to welcoming wee ones into the world and all the other milestones in-between. Celebrating the human spirit and documenting it through photo or motion is really what we are all about.  At Pear we offer outstanding wedding, portraiture and event photography, documentary films and gorgeous presentation options such as hand-made books and prints created in our own studio.
