The wedding planning season is around the corner. And all the more so wedding open houses are a great way to enlighten soon-to-be married couples about enchanting new wedding trends. From introducing you to a venue that complements your style and vision, to showcasing multiple vendors and learning about affordable wedding packages, wedding open houses offer a unique glimpse into discovering the latest innovations in the wedding industry. We recently attended a wedding open house hosted by One King West Hotel & Residence. Known as a notable wedding destination coupled with its luxurious amenities, we had a chance to tour the stunningly designed spaces. Once we arrived at the iconic location, we noticed a curated selection of Toronto’s prominent wedding vendors, including florists, photographers, and decorators.
As we walked from one booth to another at the open house event, the hotel’s historic and idyllic setting caught our attention. There is a level of grandeur and opulence you will find at the location. And let’s not forget the variety of majestic spaces suitable for wedding ceremonies, rehearsal dinners, receptions or engagement parties. Among other event spaces, you will find the Grand Banking Hall, a well-known ballroom and the largest reception hall at the location, and another reception hall, the Chairman’s Boardroom, along with the ceremony area, Austin Gallery where guests can sit and watch you exchange vows. Chatting with some of the vendors and wedding specialists provided more beneficial insights on how they can bring one’s dream wedding to life. In the midst of an architecturally beautiful scenery, you can just witness your dream wedding unfold. Vendors in attendance included Valencienne, Flirty Pineapple,Elmwood Spa, Everyday People Typewriter Poems, Snap ‘N Sweet, The Nail and Champagne Bar, Vintage Bash, Polar Ice Photobooth, and many others.
While creating an immersive experience for all, the vendors helped shed light on what to expect on one’s special day. We were able to sample appetizing dishes from the hotel’s Executive Chef, Akshay Shastry, and his culinary team. Besides the inspiring and receptive ambience, we enjoyed a bridal fashion show led by Valencienne (bridal salon). Thanks to a long-standing partner of the hotel, Mango Studios, the photography studio captured unforgettable moments at the event. If you’re looking for a picturesque wedding venue where to celebrate the beginning of your happily ever after, then one place worth exploring is One King West.
