Cassette will open to the public on October 25! Housed within the historic boutique hotel Gladstone House, which is operated by Archive Hospitality Group, Cassette’s lineup will highlight artist showcases, live performances, and cultural events. Situated at 1214 Queen St. West, Cassette embodies a skillfully chic and intimate aesthetic, blending nostalgic soul with a contemporary vibe.
Drawing inspiration from the golden age of diners and iconic cocktail bars, Cassette features comfortable booths, layered lighting, and romantic touches for guests to gather, celebrate, and linger late. In a recent press release, Alicia Too, Regional General Manager of Gladstone House and The Broadview Hotel, speaks about the community-focused space. “We wanted to create a space where you feel immediately welcome, whether you’re popping in for a casual martini, a celebratory dinner or sticking around for a dance party.”

The menu puts a refined spin on familiar diner classics, reflecting a considered approach to well-known flavours. With a mission to offer a dining experience that feels both timeless and fresh, visitors can expect the Gladstone Burger and a playful take on Pigs in a Blanket featuring pork sausage, red pepper aioli, cool ranch, and a subtle Pan-Fried trout topped with fragrant herb oil. On the drinks side, guests can find distinct selections and under-the-radar varietals paired with creative cocktails suited to every palate.

Among Cassette’s talented performers is a monthly Dinner & Drag Show residency with Toronto icon Tynomi Banks. Open seven days a week from 5 p.m. until late, Cassette invites locals and visitors alike to enjoy its vibrant atmosphere and evolving cultural rhythm.
