What continues to inspire your design process, and how has your vision evolved as bridal fashion changes?
We continue to find inspiration in art, architecture, nature, and the women for whom we design. In fact, anything beautiful can become a source of inspiration: a place, an object, a detail, a play of light, or simply something that creates a strong emotional response. We are especially drawn to the balance between structure and softness, the precision of a sculptural corset, the movement of lace, and the way light reveals embroidery and texture.
Over time, our vision has become more refined. We remain deeply committed to timeless beauty, while also paying close attention to how women live today, how they move, and what they expect from a wedding gown. New materials and techniques allow us to develop the signature language of OKSANA MUKHA with greater lightness, precision, and freedom, while preserving the craftsmanship and emotional depth that define the brand.
Today’s brides embrace a wide range of traditions and styles. How do these evolving celebrations influence your collections?
Every wedding has its own atmosphere, rhythm, and cultural meaning, and this naturally influences the way a bride chooses her gown. A celebration in a grand European setting may call for structure and presence, while a destination wedding often requires lightness, movement, and ease.
We design our collections with this diversity in mind. Detachable sleeves, capes, overskirts, and convertible elements allow a bride to adapt her look throughout the celebration. At the same time, the gown should remain true to her personality and feel appropriate within her traditions. For us, the most successful design supports the occasion while keeping the woman herself at the centre of the image.
What do you encourage brides to prioritize to ensure they feel confident and comfortable on their wedding day?
We encourage every bride to begin with how she wants to feel. The right gown should give her confidence, freedom of movement, and a sense of harmony with herself. It should create an inner feeling of happiness and allow her to feel truly special throughout the day.
Fit is essential. A well-constructed corset, balanced proportions, and the correct weight of the skirt can completely change how a gown feels from the ceremony through to the final celebration. We also advise brides to consider the setting, the season, and the length of the event, because comfort is an essential part of elegance.
Most importantly, she should recognize herself in the mirror and feel the joy of the moment. The gown should reflect her character, support her presence, and give her the freedom to experience the day fully, feeling beautiful, confident, and deeply happy.
