Excellence on the court begins with purposeful preparation, precise technique and the discipline to keep improving. At Zero Point 11 Shooting Master Academy, that pursuit is guided by Le Andre Niles, a dedicated basketball trainer and mentor passionate about helping young people become the best version of themselves on and off the court.
Based at SwishZone Shooting Centre in Scarborough, Ontario, Le Andre brings 20 years of experience training and developing young basketball players, from children learning the fundamentals to athletes competing at the high school level.
His approach is personal: understand the player, recognise their potential and help them develop the skills and mindset to move forward.
A Mentor Invested in Their Growth
For Le Andre, coaching carries a responsibility that extends beyond teaching the game. It means encouraging young athletes to believe in their abilities while learning to take ownership of their preparation, effort and progress.
Every player arrives with different strengths, challenges and ambitions. Some need patient guidance with fundamentals; others need focused instruction to refine their technique and prepare for greater competitive demands. His commitment is to meet those needs with purposeful training and constructive feedback.
Developing the Complete Player
The academy focuses on shooting technique, footwork, ball handling, finishing and basketball IQ, helping athletes connect technical skills with better decisions on the court.

Alongside physical development, Le Andre emphasises confidence, mental toughness, discipline and coachability. Learning to receive feedback, respond to setbacks and maintain focus is part of becoming a more capable athlete.
Progress takes repetition. Understanding why a movement works and practising it with intention gives that repetition value.
Seeking Players Ready to Grow
Zero Point 11 Shooting Master Academy is seeking coachable young players aged 11–17 who are serious about improving their game.
Whether working towards the next level or seeking additional help honing their skills, athletes are encouraged to bring a willingness to listen, learn and put in the work.
Lessons Beyond Basketball
Basketball offers young people opportunities to practise teamwork, accountability and resilience. Recovering from a missed shot teaches composure. Communicating with teammates develops trust. Showing up prepared builds discipline.
These experiences can shape how young athletes approach school, relationships and everyday challenges. For Le Andre, helping a player grow in confidence and character is an essential part of the work.
